Kamakura restaurant situated in Eden Square found before the Bank Of Cyprus branch on the Hotel street. After listening to others talking about how they enjoyed their meal there, found me wanting to go. So, taking a few friends along with me, we went to see if all the talk was true.

Finding it was easy, on the main Hotel road in the middle of the two semi-roundabouts. The road is a one-way system which is helpful for people crossing the road. Anyway, we got out and walked upto the restaurant (where you can stop for drinks before or after the meal) and were greeted by a polite Head Waiter who suggested a few places to sit as the Restaurant was fairly busy but with room still available. We sat by the window over looking the whole place. We were attended to by a waitress who with a gorgeous smile banished any fears it was going to be a bad night. (Are all the staff this friendly? Yes is the truth.)

We ordered our meals and soon after a Chef came along and took his position within the cooking area. As you know, in a Japanese restaurant the customers surround the Chef (cook) so they need to be good. Before we realised it, we were enjoying and laughing at the antics of our Chef who as he cooked, kept us fully entertained at the same time with his tricks. OH, and watch out for the fire!! Our waitress was always close at hand and ready to supply us with more drinks when asked. We even tried some Japanese Beer which was different to the usual Beers we drink. Maybe it was the food which made it different or maybe they tricked us into thinking it was different!! Don't ask what we ordered, I couldn't remember it but the Sushi we did have was excellent.

Finally after about an 1hr 15mn (could've been longer) we made our way out of the restaurant (after having deserts which were offered after our meals) still happy with the Chef and smiling as we remembered his silly tricks whilst cooking and not forgetting the waitress either.
