Protaras hotels fall into the family orientated category, catering to a clientèle largely made up of couples in their thirties and young families as well as groups of friends. There are a number of great hotel-complexes around Protaras that are of a more up-market experience and family orientated.

Starting with the 5 star hotels and going through to the 1 star hotels.

The more the stars the better the quality of the hotel and the more facilities which are available to clients wishing to stay in the hotel available to them.

5 star hotels are open all year round (except when under renovations) that's not to say you would not find lower star hotels open during the winter season.

The summer season usually begins late March/Early April (varying in accordance with Easter) and goes through to late October.

Many Hotels also offer 24 hour reception service so no matter what time you arrive someone will always be there to meet you when you eventually arrive there even if your flight is delayed.

All hotels offer regular room service and at least twice weekly change of Linen. In some hotel rooms, a Mini bar may be found and also a safe. Safes are also often rented from the Reception desk on the ground floor.

Furthermore, there are other forms of accommodation such as Hotel Apartments, Apartments and Holiday Villages for tourists to stay in whilst on holiday.

Protaras, Cyprus has more than 15,000 beds, but in high season these rooms can fill up very quickly, so do not leave your planning to the last minute and book well in advance to avoid disappointment.

If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing holiday please make sure not to book a hotel near the town centre as it is very busy and can be quite noisy into the early hours.
